Brody J. Mesler

Brody Joe Mesler, age 66 of Westfield passed away on Friday, April 29, 2022 at his home. Born on February 17, 1956 in Westfield, he was the son of the late Robert and Marge (Mosher) Mesler. He was raised by his step father, Douglas (Skip) Carpenter and his mother, Marge. Brody married Dewey Seeley and they spent many loving years together until his passing. He worked at several places throughout his life; he was a farmhand at Sherwoods, then he worked at the Cowanesque Foundry, after that he worked at the Westfield Tannery, and then he worked at the Cowanesque Recycle Center. He liked tinkering on cars and at one point he even owned and operated his own auto body shop. He enjoyed collecting model cars, guitars, music, mowing the lawn and spending time with his family. Brody is survived by his wife, Dewey Mesler of Westfield, Pa; daughter, Amy Mesler of Westfield, Pa; granddaughter, Haylee Simmons (Dakota Gigee), two great granddaughters, siblings, Bradley (Audrey) Mesler of Bath, NY,  Bonnie Mesler of Galeton, PA, Stephen (Beccy) Mesler of North Carolina, Barry Mesler of Ulysses, Pa, Robin (Raymond) Mesler of Westfield, PA, Michael (Darla) Mesler of Harrison Valley, Ken (Marie) Mesler of Harrison Valley, and Robert (Marge) Mesler of Bath, NY, and sibling-in-laws, Connie (Dale) Hall of Clinton, NY, Bonnie (Louie) Lampman of Ulysses, PA, Beverly Trowbridge of Knoxville, PA, Terry (Rita) Seeley of Westfield, PA, Randy Seeley of Genesee, PA, Penny (Gaylord) Mertsock of Westfield, PA and Henry (Bobby) Seeley of Westfield, PA, several nieces and nephews, Jenny Day who was thought of as a daughter by Brody and Dewey, and good friend Troy Simmons. He was preceded in death by his parents, step father, daughter, Melissa Mesler; brother, Rocky Mesler, brother-in-law, Virgle Trowbridge, and sister-in-law, Deb Seeley. Family and friends are welcome to Kenyon Funeral Home, 222 W. Main St. Westfield, PA on Friday, May 6, 2022 from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm. A memorial service will be held immediately following at 2:00 pm with Pastor David Brelo officiating.
