Obituary
Carolyn M. DeSera, age 85 of Horseheads formerly of Corning, passed away on January 9, 2023. She was born on November 28, 1937 in Elkland, PA to the late Joseph and Caroline DeSera. Carolyn was also predeceased by her brothers, Harry, Ernest and Joseph Jr. and her sister, Edith. She is survived by sister-in-law, Joyce DeSera; several nieces and nephews. After graduating from Elkland High School and Corning Community College she worked for Corning Glass for 50 years. Carolyn was a kind soul who was deeply religious. She was a communicant of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Corning, NY. There are no services planned at this time.
