Constance "Connie" (Poling) Dickerson Gained her heavenly wings on Thursday, September 16, 2021. Connie was born December 16, 1948 to Forrest and Audrey Poling who predeceased her. On August 19, 1967 she married David Dickerson who also predeceased her. Connie was a graduate from Elkland High School. She was a secretary for her husband’s Mac Tool Business for 15 years, she worked at Lindley Presho School, as well as 25 years at Stateline Camping Center, and also the Dollar Tree. Connie was known for her love of line dancing, ice skating, and playing volleyball. She loved working at the Food Pantry as well. Connie brought life to the room where ever she went. No matter where she was, she always found someone to talk to, loved one or strangers. Folks of all ages and backgrounds enjoyed her presence. Connie treasured her family the most. Connie is survived by her daughter Deanna Skinner, her son Chad Dickerson, her grandchildren Audra (Mike) Decker, Hailey (Richard) Graham, Hunter (Rosanna) Price, 8 great grandchildren, her Brother John Poling, Brother-in-law Donald (Tina) Dickerson, Sister-in-Law Carol (Tim) Kemp, Sister-in-law Peggy (Ronald) Hawkins, Aunt Dodie and Uncle Cliff, many nieces, and nephews and great- great nieces and nephews. Connie had so many wonderful friends, we would have to write a book to mention them all. Connie will be met at heaven’s gates by her In-laws Irving and Marguerite Dickerson, Sister Sheila Jackson, Brother-in-law Ron West, Brother-in-law Stanley Dickerson, and Sister- in- law Brenda Poling. Family will receive friends at Kenyon Funeral Home, 214 W. Main St., Elkland on Saturday, Oct. 9th from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM. Burial will follow in Woodhull Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Pantry of Angels and the Lindley Fire Department.
