Deborah S. Draper

Deborah Sue Draper, age 61 of Millerton, PA passed away at her home surrounded by family on Saturday, March 19, 2022. Born on February 23, 1961, in Wellsboro, PA, she was the daughter to Ross E. and Shirley M. (Davis) Kenyon. 

On March 4, 1995, Richard E. Draper married Deborah, although only married for 27 years; they actually shared their lives together for about 42 loving years. In that time shared together they had two daughters, Carrie Draper Perry and Sarah Draper. 

Deb enjoyed baking, taking care of animals, camping and being outdoors. She also loved gardening and floral design. That love for flowers carried over into her career; by owning a floral shop known as Deb’s Flowers. Deb also donated when she could to groups like Heart to Heart, Animal Care Sanctuary, the Millerton Food Pantry, Girl and Boy Scouts, and she even donated flowers to Williamson Sr./Jr. High School’s Proms for many years. 

Unfortunately, she had an unexpected second fight with cancer this year after overcoming her first battle of breast cancer in 2006. Her memory should be remembered for her love of life and most people, per Deb’s wishes. 

Deborah is survived by her loving spouse, Richard E. Draper; daughters, Carrie Draper (Scott) Perry and Sarah K. Draper; mother, Shirley M. Kenyon; sisters, Carol A. Bissinger, Bobbi J. Brown and Joy L. Kenyon; grandchildren, Aiden and Keira Cannon and Addison Perry; and great grandchild, Ronan Knowlton. She was preceded by her father, Ross E. Kenyon and brother, Bill Kenyon. 

Family and friends are welcome to gather for a celebration of life at 2:00 pm on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at 18 Old Cemetery Lane, Millerton, PA 16936.
