Deborah Mae Simmons

Deborah Mae Simmons age 60 of Knoxville, PA passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Corning Hospital. Born February 28, 1961 in Blossburg, PA she was the daughter of Harold and Doris V. (Whitney) Hand. Deborah married Jeffrey Simmons Sr. and spent 39 loving years together. She loved camping, hiking, gardening, going on road trips and visiting amusement parks. When she wasn’t outside she enjoyed cooking, playing cards, putting puzzles together and most of all; spending time with her large and loving family. Her family meant everything to her. Deborah is survived by her loving husband, Jeffrey Simmons Sr. of Knoxville, PA; her mother, Doris V. Hand of Knoxville, PA; children, Rebecca Hand of Elkland, PA, Raymond (Julie) Simmons of Elkland, PA, Jeffrey (Amanda) Simmons Jr. of Osceola, PA and Michael Simmons of Knoxville, PA; grandchildren Trinity and Keith, Chloe, Ryliegh, Savannah, Lilyonna and Jeffrey III, Natila, Faith, Heaven, Hope and Grace; siblings, Karen (Jake) Gilmer of Dansville, NY, Louie (Twila) Hand of Elkland, PA, Annie (Kevin) Preston of Bath, NY, Lisa (Russell) Hadsell of Bath NY, Linda Hand of Dansville, NY, Donnie Hand of Elkland, PA and Harold (Dunner) Hand Jr. of Cameron Mills, NY; and lots of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Hand. Family will receive friends at Kenyon Funeral Home, 214 W.
