Obituary
Eileen A. Martin, age 78 of Elkland passed away at home on Wednesday, April 20, 2022. Born July 12, 1943 in Newark, NJ, she was the daughter of the late William and Linda (Caffo) Ahearn. Eileen graduated from High School in Alaska and retired from Corning Inc. She married Peter L. Martin, Sr. and they would have shared 60 years together this October. Eileen loved playing bingo and cards with friends and was a member of the St. Thomas Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband, Peter; sons, Peter and Robin Martin, Jr. of Elkland, Tom and Diane Martin of Columbus, NY and David Martin of Elkland; grandchildren, Justin Martin, Christopher Wainright, Katelynd Fairchild and David Martin, Jr. and several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Jim and John Ahearn; sisters, Linda Flemming and Joanne Zuke and a great grandson, Trenton Martin. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
