Gloria Jean Gibson

Gloria Jean Gibson age 80 of Knoxville, PA passed away on Sunday, September 19, 2021 at Carleton Nursing Home in Wellsboro.  Born September 13, 1941 in Corning, NY, she was the daughter of the late Robert J. Gibson, Sr. and Esther (Scouten) Sherman.  Gloria liked to crochet, draw and paint; she was a great artist.  She loved Nascar and football and was a Tony Stewart and Pittsburgh Steelers fan.  Gloria is survived by her daughter, Sonja Ray; 3 grandchildren, Kevin Ray, Michael Fye and Jennifer Smith; a brother, Vernon and Christine Gibson of Montoursville; her sister, Sharon and Gene Heck of Knoxville; her aunt, Gert Fitzsimmons of Corning, NY and many nieces, nephews and cousins.  She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Robert J. Gibson, Jr. and a sister. Family will receive friends at Kenyon Funeral Home, 214 W. Main St., Elkland on Thursday, 2:00 - 3:30 PM.  A memorial service will be held immediately following at 3:30PM with Rev.
