Howard A. Taft, age 95 of Westfield, PA, entered eternity on Tuesday, July 6, 2021. Born August 23 , 1925, he was the son of Noland and Nancy ( Allen) Taft. Howard was predeceased by wife Phyllis (Bruce) Taft , a son, Stewart Taft, and grandson Larry Taft. He was very proud of the fact that he resided in the home he purchased as a teenager and lived to be the longest retiree of the Corning Glass Works. Surviving are a sister, Winola Heck, Westfield; sons, Vaughan (Lynn) Taft, Woodhull, C. Stanley (Karal) Taft, Westfield, Ronald (Greta) Taft, Westfield, Timothy Taft , Knoxville, and daughter Lesly (Frank) Gunn, Westfield; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. In accord with Howard’s wishes, there will be no calling hours or public services. A private memorial will be held by the family. Arrangements are in care of Kenyon Funeral Home, Elkland.
