James Johnson Obituary

James R. Johnson age 81 of Knoxville passed away on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at UPMC Wellsboro. Born April 7, 1940 in Elkland, PA, he was the son of the late Jesse Johnson and Virginia Smith. Jim was an equipment operator for PennDot and retired after 35 years of service. He married Sandra G. Beebe and shared 61 years together. He enjoyed gardening, woodworking and life; he was always a happy guy. Jim is survived by his loving wife, Sandra; his sons, Mike and Sandra of Little Marsh, Mark of Little Marsh and Jamie and Kelly of Pine City; two granddaughters, Tammy and Charlei Johnson; one great granddaughter, Caitlin Kent; his siblings, Joy and Lynn Clark, Jane Abplanalp, Donna Ianson and Jerry and Brenda Johnson and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded by his parents and his step mother, Loretta Johnson. Private family services will be held at their convenience. Arrangements are in care of Kenyon Funeral Home.
