John McGarrity Obituary

John Alan McGarrity, age 81 of Osceola, PA passed away Monday, November 15, 2021 at UPMC Williamsport. Born June 20, 1940 in Havertown, PA; he was the son of the late James and Florence (Jenson) McGarrity. John married Nancy Klopfer and they spent 31 loving years together. John enjoyed spending time outdoors either hunting, riding four-wheeler, snowmobiling, riding ATV or occasionally fishing. He was a member of many organizations such as; the Elkland Moose, VFW, Masonic Lodge, AMVETS and he was once president of the PA Grand Canyon Snowmobile Club. John is survived by his loving wife Nancy; step-children Paul (Tina) Martin, Gerald (Carol) Paris, April (Keith) Sandridge and Tina (Jeff) Bailey; 9 Grandchildren; 18 Great Grandchildren and Brother James (Fran) McGarrity. He was preceded in death by his parents; a step son, John Paul Paris and a son, Joe Crossley. A private graveside will be held at the family’s convenience.
