Joyce I. Bowe

Joyce I. Bowe age 92 of Wellsboro and Westfield passed away on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at Broad Acres Nursing Home. Born July 9, 1929 in Queens, NY, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Caroline (Weber) Dupree. Joyce married John W. Bowe and they shared 40 years together until his passing in 1990. Joyce was a volunteer at Broad Acres, volunteer and member of the Wellsboro Senior Center and a member of the St. Peter’s Catholic Church and Coolidge Hollow Church. She is survived by her children: Dianna and Robert Marmo, Ellen Marengo, Patricia and Thomas Lambert, Kathleen Bowe and John Paul Bowe; she’s loved and will be missed by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Joyce was preceded in death by her sister, Gloria L’Amoureux. Family will receive friends at the Jim Carleton Funeral Home, 11470 Route 6, Wellsboro on Saturday, Nov. 27th from noon – 2:00 PM. A funeral service will be held immediately following at 2:00 PM with Father Joseph Mosley officiating.
