Katherine Marie Morvay

Katherine Marie Morvay age 64 of Westfield passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2022 at her home. Born September 4, 1957 in Boston, Mass., she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Dorothy (Berg) Walsh. Kathy married Alan Morvay in 1980 and together they were car show vendors. She was an avid collector and attended Valley Christian Church in Westfield. A message from Kathy: 'God calls us to share the gift of chesed - to practice random acts of kindness in Jesus' name.  To do so is to honor Christ and help fulfill his mission of reconciling the world to God.  As importantly, sharing the gift of chesed transforms us and brings us together in a spirit of community and thanksgiving.'  She is survived by her sister, Dorothy (Bill Haviland) Walsh of Quincy, MA; sister in law, Cordelia Morvay of Souderton, PA; niece, Maria Echevarria of Souderton, PA and cousins, Liz Leh of FL and Michael Mcenany of NY and her special friends, Wayne and Vicki Lehman of Westfield. Kathy was preceded in death by her husband, Alan.  A memorial service will be held at the Valley Christian Church, 146 Maple St., Westfield on August 12th at 2:00 PM.  There will be a meal to follow at the church.  Arrangements are in care of Kenyon Funeral Home, Westfield. www.kenyonfuneralhome.com.
