Luanne Stocum

Luanne Stocum,68 of Lawrenceville,Pa was taken home suddenly yet peacefully in her sleep in the early morning hours of Sunday September 10th. She was born 6-11-1955 at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital in Wellsboro,Pa. She was a loving wife,amazing grandmother and the worlds greatest mom. She enjoyed the simple things in life like sitting on her deck in the evenings enjoying a cup of coffee with her dogs, or her “kids” as she called them. Or watching the wild birds at their feeders from her dining room table. She was also known to enjoy a good old fashioned “Word search” puzzle while snacking on Smartees. She was a beautiful soul whose light and warmth graced the ones she loved and will forever be missed. She is preceded in death by her father and mother,Claude Dock Cumberledge and Ruthadel Mary Cumberledge (Hoyt) of Lawrenceville,Pa. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth D. Stocum of Lawrenceville. Her son and fiancé, Joshua Doran and DeAnna McMillan of Elmira, NY. Her one and only granddaughter Ada Luanne Doran of Elmira/Elmira Heights, NY. Her brother and sister in law, Gary and Robin Cumberledge of Tucson, Az. Her brother and sister in law, Daniel and Bonne Cumberledge of Brockport, NY. Her brother and sister in law Jay and Diane Dietsche of Camp Hill, Pa. Along with many, MANY nieces and nephews. Private family services will be held at their convenience.  In lieu of flowers please make a donation to Second Chance Animal Sanctuaries, 725 Gee Rd., Tioga, PA 16946 or ANY Veteran Association.  Arrangements are in care of Kenyon Funeral Home.
