Patrick A. Kennedy

Patrick A. Kennedy, of Elkland, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday March 8, 2023. He was born January 27, 1946 in Coudersport, Pennsylvania, the son of Charles E. Kennedy Sr. and Naomi M. Kelly. He was married to Carol Louise Evans who preceded him in death in 1979, also sons, Damian A. Kennedy and Ryan P. Kennedy and a brother Charles E. Kennedy. He later married Renee Marie Drouillard who survives. He is also survived by sons: Ryan P. Kennedy’s Family; Mr. & Mrs. Rhett F. Kennedy and Family of Bradford, PA; Mr. & Mrs. Kevin G. Kennedy and Family of Virginia; Mr. & Mrs. Jason R. Kennedy and Family of Ohio; Mr. & Mrs. Rorick A. Kennedy and Family of the U.S. Air Force; Kiernan D. Kennedy of Elkland, PA; and a daughter, Kelly M. Knickerbocker and Family of Nelson, PA. He was a Biology instructor at Elkland Area High School for 31 years until his retirement in 1998, and was Director of Religious Education and catechist at St. Thomas the Apostle Parish in Elkland for 39 years. Divine Mercy Chaplet and Rosary will be recited in St. Thomas the Apostle Church at 6pm on the evening prior to the funeral. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Elkland, PA and/or St. Bibiana Church, Galeton, PA. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Bibiana Church, Galeton PA at 10am on March 17, 2023. Burial will follow in the family plot in West Hill Cemetery, Galeton, PA.
