Richard Gower Obituary

Richard Paul Gower, age 77 of Westfield, PA passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2022 at UPMC Susquehanna Williamsport. He was born November 5, 1944 in Emmaus, PA and was the son of the late Wilson Paul and Louise Pearl (Stoudt) Gower. On September 13, 1969, Richard married Pam Lee Helfrich and they shared 52 loving years together. Richard enjoyed tinkering, woodworking and building anything he could. He also liked shooting guns, collecting vintage guns, farming with his son-in-law and spending time with his beloved dog - Mathilde. Richard is survived by his loving wife; Pam Gower of Westfield, PA; daughter, Shannan (Stephen) Brauchle of Westfield, PA; sisters, Doris Eisenhardt and Janice Reinert both of Emmaus, PA; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilson and Louise Gower; one brother, Harold Gower; and two sisters, Martha Carl and Barbara Fenstermaker.Per Richard and his family’s wishes, there will be no services at this time.
