Robert E. Soyka, Sr.

Robert E. Soyka, Sr., age 82 of Westfield passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at Arnot Ogden Medical Center in Elmira, NY. Born January 20, 1941 in Elizabeth, NJ, he was the son of Joseph and Amelia Soyka. Robert was an electrician and after retirement he enjoyed tinkering on tools and small engines in his garage. He was a member and Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus. Bob is survived by his children, Robert Soyka, Jr., Susan Soyka and Michele Torres; grandchildren, Matthew, Jessica, Dean, Zachary, Elizabeth and Drew; a brother, Joseph Soyka and a sister, Carol. He was preceded in death by his wife, Diane M. Soyka in 2019.  Family will receive friends at Kenyon Funeral Home, 222 W. Main St., Westfield on Monday, April 24th from 12:00 – 2:00 PM. A funeral service will be held immediately following at 2:00PM with Rev. Larry O’Dell officiating. Burial will be in Ackley Cemetery, Sabinsville. www.kenyonfuneralhome.com.
