Roxann R. Weidman

Roxann R. Weidman age 61 of Westfield passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at the Green Home in Wellsboro.  Born August 22, 1960 in Wellsboro, she was the daughter of Dale J. and Joan M. (Machan) Weidman.  Roxann earned her Gold Award in Girl Scouts, graduated from nursing school and was an LPN at Charles Cole Hospital for ten years, at the Green Home for 11 years and worked as an aide at the Cowanesque Valley High School and Westfield Elementary School for 18 years.  She was always picking up projects and keeping busy.  She enjoyed baking for everyone, crafts and decorating.  Roxann was a member of the Historical Society, Westfield United Methodist Church and served on the Westfield Boro council.  She is survived by her mother, Joan Weidman of Westfield; brothers, Roy and Marie Weidman of Westfield and Robbie Weidman of Virginia and her nieces and nephews, Cara, Cameron, Stephanie and Austin.  She was preceded in death by her father, Dale J. and a brother, Reed.  A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 14th, 1:00 PM at the Westfield United Methodist Church.  There will be a dinner to follow.
