Sherry L. Monroe

Sherry Lynn Monroe, age 64 of Westfield passed away on Friday, April 14, 2023 at UPMC Wellsboro. Born September 25, 1958 in Blossburg, she was the daughter of the late Van C. and Ella M. (Schueltz) Grenolds. Sherry worked for K Magnetics in Galeton for many years until their closing and was still working for the Electri-Cord in Westfield. She enjoyed shopping and decorating the house. She is survived by her loving husband, Alan J. Monroe; daughter, Nickie (Todd) Putman of Westfield; step son, Robert J. Tombs of Knoxville; grandchildren, Jaxon Putman, Angela Tombs and McKenna Putman; a brother, Randy Grenolds of Painted Post, NY; four sisters, Judy Cady of Westfield, Barbara Schmidt of Westfield, Linda Hand of Gaines and Vickie Campbell of Carlisle; her longtime best friend Joanne Monroe; many nieces, nephews and cousins and her extended Monroe family. Sherry was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Sarah Tombs. A celebration of life will be held at Kenyon Funeral Home, 222 W.
