Obituary
Shirley V. Kopecky, age 84 passed away on July 21, 2022 at Broad Acres Nursing Home, Wellsboro. Born January 6, 1938 in Little Marsh, PA, she was the daughter of the late Le Clair and Doris (Sortore) Misner. Shirley enjoyed reading several books, working o her brother’s Dairy Farm and watching the Green Bay Packers. She is survived by her grandsons, Michael Elwood of El Paso, TX and Trais Griffin of Wellsboro, PA; and sister-in-law, Dawn Misner of Lawrenceville, PA. Shirley was preceded in death by both her parents; loving husband, Roger Kopecky; daughter, Yvonne Kopecky; brothers, Darry and Jerry Misner; and sister, Sharon Griffin. A graveside service will be held at Tioga County Memorial Gardens on Thursday, March 16th at 10:00 AM with Rev. Larry O'Dell officiating. Arrangements were in care of Kenyon Funeral Home, Elkland.
